For this project I read a fortune cokie and create a design from it. My fortune is included in the artwork(flames) and it reads “A wish will be granted after a long delay.“ Reading this I thought of the muscle car that I always wanted. Aging myself to represent the delay was logical; “El Ruquito” means “old dude” in Spanish. Being a fan of rat fink art, I took the opportunity to explore this style for the first time.
